Just over 30 minutes drive away (15 miles) you will find the ‘Killhope Lead Mining Museum’ – in the centre of the North Pennines an area of outstanding natural beauty. The museum is dog friendly and is a multi award winning 19th century mining museum, open from the 1st. April – the museum is free to enter and boasts a cafe and gift shop.

Cozy Deep Japanese Style Bath

Our bathroom is compact but complete and hosts a deep Japanese style bath, being just long enough to sit down with legs outstretched and deep enough to practically float! A shower attachment is perfect for hair washing and a Victorian style handbasin completes the suite. Bathrobes and towels are provided – perfect after a busy day’s exploring and walking!
